Esquivias, PM. (2012, 20 de junio). Luminous characterization of vertical openings (and its thermal implications)

CONGRESO: Proc. of Lumenet: A workshop for PhD research students of the art and science of lighting.

PÁGINAS: 1-17

CIUDAD: Sheffield (United Kingdom)

ABSTRACT:
The main objective of this project is get knowledge about indoor daylight conditions due to the effect produced by external conditions, building and window characteristics and solar shading elements, and gets the luminous performance law for a more conscious building design and building refurbishment.  While it was common to study daylighting based on Daylight Factor, this work also study every case based on the Dynamic Daylight Metrics Daylight Autonomy and Useful Daylight Illuminances. These metrics are able to statistically treat illuminance values obtained for every moment and every sky model occurring throughtout an entire year. This objective is complemented with thermal implications of each parameter to get a balance between luminous and thermal indoor environment.
