Abstract: We show some recent results regarding the existence, stability and dynamics of dark-bright solitons and beating dark-dark solitons in multi-component BECs. Additionally, some properties of gap dark-bright solitons in photorefractive waveguide arrays, motivated by recent experiments, are shown.
